Weekly Mortgage Rates

11-01-2025

For the first time in several weeks rates have risen. Although the Fed cut rates a ¼ point this week, interest rates rose because of Chairman Powells comments regarding the potential rate cut looming in December. Chairman Powell said, “a further reduction in the policy rate at the December meeting is not a foregone conclusion. Far from it, policy is not on a preset course.” That was enough to push a decent sell off on the bond market and send rates rising about ¼ point.

Have a great weekend, and as always reach out with any questions or needs.
